Hi, I'm Lesley and I'm the owner of Canine Design Academy of Grooming, Evercreech in Somerset. I've been running the business since 1992 and I love what I do. I really enjoy teaching others to groom and I love the company of the animals and the students (most of them anyway!). I have some fantastic members of staff - Kelly, my Manager who has been with me since 2002 and is brilliant - she started out as a work experience trainee and is now a City & Guild Advanced groomer; and Tina, our newest member of staff who was an ex-trainee and moved down from Brighton to join us - how's that for dedication! Tina has a real gift for communicating with people and making them feel at their ease. She is also now City & Guilds Advanced qualified. We all take great pride in our work and in the way we handle the animals - we believe every dog which comes through our door should be treated with kindness and respect.

I passed the 1st 2 modules of my Higher Diploma last year with a Bedlington and a Parson Russell and will be graduating in May with my LCGI - very exciting!!!
